Volunteer Opportunities

Alpha Omicron Pi is an organization founded on democratic principles and therefore relies heavily on volunteer involvement from our alumnae members to function. A wide range of opportunities are available for positions serving either local or international levels.

The Human Resources Committee (HRC) is charged with the responsibility of cultivating and recruiting a broad, diversified base of volunteers from the membership of Alpha Omicron Pi. The Committee solicits and accepts applications from potential volunteers and then researches those applications to identify potential candidates for appointive offices. The Executive Board makes appointments to positions on Standing Committees and in the various Networks from a list of qualified candidates recommended by HRC. The Committee also identifies volunteers with the special talents or expertise needed to assist the Fraternity with specific projects.

The nomination process for the election of members to the Executive Board managed by the Human Resources Committee.  The nomination process for election of members to the Foundation Board is managed by a Foundation Nominations Committee.
