Alpha Omicron Pi Elects 2015-2017 Executive Board
BRENTWOOD, Tenn. (July 17, 2015) -- Alpha Omicron Pi is pleased to announce the Fraternity’s 2015-2017
Executive Board, elected and installed on Saturday, June 27 at International Convention in Los Angeles. The Executive Board is comprised of exceptional AOII volunteers who will oversee the strategic direction and vision of Alpha Omicron Pi Fraternity for the next biennium. The members of AOII’s 2015-17 Executive Board are:
- Gayle Fitzpatrick, International President (Alpha Rho/Oregon State U and Portland Alumnae Chapter)
Gayle lives in Lake Oswego, OR and is Group Vice President for Oracle Corporation. She has served AOII in the roles of Collegiate Chapter President, Special Chapter Assistant (known today as a Resident Consultant), Regional Finance Officer and Director, AOII Foundation Board President, AOII Properies Board Director, and Executive Board Vice President.
- Susan Bonifield, Vice President of Finance (Nu Beta/U of Mississippi and Triangle Alumnae Chapter)
Susan lives in Durham, NC and is the Associate Dean, Finance & Administration for the Duke University Pratt School of Engineering. She has served AOII in the roles of Collegiate Chapter President, Chapter Consultant, Collegiate Programming Network Specialist, Chapter Adviser, and Network Director.
- Crystal Combs, Vice President (Nu Beta/U of Mississippi and New Orleans Area Alumnae Chapter)
Crystal lives in Picayune, MS where she is the Managing Officer for Picayune General Dentistry, Inc. and Growing Smiles of Picayune. She has served AOII in the roles of Collegiate Chapter President, Philanthropy Adviser, Alumnae Chapter President, AOII Properties Board Director and President, and AOII Foundation Board Director, Treasurer and President.
- Amber Countis, Vice President (Pi/Tulane U and NY/NJ Metro Alumnae Chapter)
Amber lives in Northfield, VT and is the Director of Development Research and Data Services at Norwich University. She has served AOII in the roles of Alumnae Chapter President, Chapter Adviser, Collegiate Network Specialist, Collegiate Network Director, and Network Director, and has held her current role as Executive Board Vice President since 2013.
- Susan Danko, Vice President (Phi Upsilon/Purdue U and Dallas Alumnae Chapter)
Susan lives in Dallas, TX and is the Vice President of Human Resources at Fujitsu Network Communications, Inc. She has served AOII in the roles of Collegiate Chapter President, Chapter Consultant, Collegiate Recruitment Network Director, Executive Board Director of Collegiate Chapters, and Second Alternate Delegate on AOII’s National Panhellenic Conference Delegation. Susan has held her current role of Executive Board Vice President since 2011 and is also a Past International President, serving as IP from 2005-2009.
- Grace Houston, Vice President (Lambda Tau/U of Louisiana at Monroe and Monroe Alumnae Chapter)
Grace lives in Monroe, LA and is a retired college and university administrator following over 40 years of service in education. She has served AOII as Collegiate Chapter Treasurer, Regional Finance Officer, Vice President and Director, Alumnae Chapter President, various Alumnae Advisory Committee roles, and Network Specialist-Finance, and has served in her current role as Executive Board Vice President since 2013.
- Jessie Wang-Grimm, Vice President (Phi Chi/U of Chicago and Chicago West Suburban Alumnae Chapter)
Jessie lives in Western Springs, IL where she is Assistant Regional Counsel for the Social Security Administration, Office of the General Counsel. She has served AOII in the roles of Recruitment Adviser, Collegiate Recruitment Network Specialist, AOII Foundation Board Director, and AOII Foundation Board Secretary.
- Krista Whipple, Vice President (Omega/Miami U and Greater Cleveland Area Alumnae Chapter)
Krista lives in Solon, OH where she is Director, Product Research and Development for Kemper P&C. She has served AOII in the roles of Chapter Adviser, Network Specialist, Network Director, Executive Board Vice President of Operations, AOII Properties Board Vice President, AOII Properties Board Treasurer, and Executive Board Vice President of Finance.
- Allison Allgier, Ex-Officio (Epsilon Omega/Eastern Kentucky U and Northern Kentucky Alumnae Chapter)
Allison lives in Cincinnati, OH where she is the Clinical Program Manager at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. She has served AOII in the roles of Collegiate Chapter President, a variety of Alumnae Advisory Committee roles, Collegiate Recruitment Network Specialist, Collegiate Network Director, AOII Properties Board Director, Executive Board Vice President, and International President from 2011-2015. As immediate Past International President, Allison will continue to serve on the Executive Board as Ex-Officio for one term.
The AOII Executive Board is elected bi-annually by Council, the Fraternity’s governing body comprised of AOII’s Executive, Foundation, and Properties Boards, all Network volunteers, Standing Committee Chairmen, Past International Presidents, Alumnae Chapter Presidents, Collegiate Chapter Presidents, and Chapter Advisers. The extensive volunteer involvement of AOII’s Executive Board leaders reflects the importance and value of committing to AOII for a lifetime.
