Scholarship available for 2017 Undergraduate Interfraternity Institute (UIFI)

The AOII Foundation is also proud of offer one scholarship covering full registration for a sister who desires to attend the 2017 Undergraduate Interfraternity Institute (UIFI) in Bloomington, Indiana. This institute is seen as the premier leadership academy for fraternity and sorority members and features experiential learning and hands-on activities, an opportunity to meet fellow Greeks from all 50 states and Canada, and a curriculum that teaches you how to lead with passion and integrity. The application deadline for 2017 was March 15, 2017 and the recipient will be contacted in early April. Please email Sydney Talley with any questions. 

Academic Scholarships

**Scholarship applications for the 2017-2018 academic year have closed. Evaluations have begun and applicants with submissions turned in before the deadline will receive notice of whether they were or were not chosen for an award by May 30, 2017.**

Academic scholarships are granted to AOII undergraduate, graduate and returning alumnae members each year. For the 2016-2017 academic year, $194,500 was awarded to 98 deserving AOII collegiate and alumnae members.

The Scholarship Committee evaluates each application based on the following criteria:

  • AOII Leadership and Honors
  • Campus and community involvement and employment
  • Academic Achievement (cumulative GPA)
  • Quality of the applicant’s essay
  • Substance of adviser, professors’ and alumnae recommendations
