With over 90 Named Scholarships, each year more are being established to honor and remember some amazing AOIIs. The hope is that these scholarships will live in perpetuity by reaching the required minimum to establish an endowed scholarship. The recently established scholarships below are actively fundraising to reach $25,000 or more to become permanently endowed.

Dr. Lori Hart Belonging Scholarship

The Dr. Lori Hart Belonging Scholarship is a new named AOII scholarship opportunity launched in 2023 to celebrate and commemorate Lori’s work in the fraternal space.  This scholarship will be awarded to a collegiate AOII member who inspires belonging within her chapter and/or the university community. The recipient creates, facilitates, and supports environments where everyone feels included, heard, and offered the same opportunities to thrive. The recipient will demonstrate how they advance belonging through Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. The Dr. Lori Hart Belonging Scholarship will not only provide financial support for young women making a significant impact in AOII, their community and even our world.

Tracy Maxwell Let Your Light Shine Scholarship

Tracy’s journey has been defined by her unwavering commitment to education and service. From her early days as an AOII consultant to her impactful roles in higher education and nonprofit leadership, Tracy has left an indelible mark. As a survivor of ovarian cancer, she has demonstrated resilience and courage in the face of adversity, inspiring countless individuals along the way. This scholarship, generously endowed by Tracy’s family, friends, and AOII sisters, seeks to recognize and support a member who shares Tracy’s passion for illuminating pressing issues and effecting positive change. This scholarship, named for Tracy’s desire to shine her light for all the world to see, will be available to an initiated graduating senior or alumna member in good standing seeking a graduate degree in nonprofit management/administration or the equivalent, student affairs, student personnel administration, or the equivalent, or who serves or served as Panhellenic Council Executive Officer or Panhellenic Delegate their university.

Morgan Williamson Memorial Scholarship

Morgan Elaine Williamson’s life was defined by compassion, resilience, and an unwavering commitment to helping others. A proud member of the Epsilon Omega Chapter at Eastern Kentucky University, Morgan embodied the heart of Alpha Omicron Pi through the kindness and genuine sisterhood she extended to everyone around her. After earning degrees in mental health counseling, she dedicated her career to supporting others as a mental health therapist, leading with empathy, understanding, and a belief in the power of human connection. This scholarship honors Morgan’s lasting legacy by supporting an AOII sister who shares her passion for caring for others and is pursuing a career in the mental health field. Through this scholarship, Morgan’s light and her extraordinary capacity to make others feel seen, valued, and loved will continue to shine in the lives of future sisters.
