Alpha Omicron Pi hosts several signature international events throughout each biennium which provide members with experiences to Inspire Ambition through leadership development, service, sisterhood, and fun.
Alumnae Leadership Conference
AOII’s signature alumnae-centered event is the Alumnae Leadership Conference. Join this all-alumnae experience to participate in the annual virtual event, which offers educational and engaging programming and the opportunity to connect with sisters from across North America! Volunteer Summit
Volunteer Summit is an alumnae experience focused on equipping select volunteer roles with tools and connections to strengthen you in your role. Attending roles will rotate biennially to allow for focused training and relationship building. For the inaugural Volunteer Summit, Chapter Advisors, Network Directors, NS-Operations & Programming, NS-New Chapter Development, International Standing Committee Chairs, and selected international volunteer facilitators are invited to attend.
Camp AOII
Camp AOII is an event experience designed just for collegiate members. Held in two sessions each summer, it focuses on making new connections with sisters from chapters across North America and developing leadership skills that can be used in AOII, on-campus, and beyond. Limited spaces are available, but spots will be reserved for each chapter to send at least one participant. 2024 Camp AOII sessions will take place at Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana.
Convention
International Convention is held each odd calendar year to celebrate AOII’s biennium. At this event, business of the Fraternity is conducted and Council Members elect AOII’s Executive Board and Foundation Board. All AOII members are invited to attend this exciting event where they have the opportunity to network, engage in AOII rituals, celebrate chapter accomplishments, and experience AOII traditions and sisterhood. The 2025 AOII International Convention will be in Palm Desert, California! We can’t wait to see you there!
Leadership Academy
Leadership Academy takes place annually as a training and onboarding opportunity focused on collegiate chapters. This fully virtual experience provides new collegiate Executive Team officers an opportunity to meet other AOIIs holding their same officer role, learn about the leadership expectations of Alpha Omicron Pi, their role’s duties, meet professional staff and Network Team members, and participate in small group conversations with other officers. In addition to Executive Team members, select advisors are also invited to attend.
