Throughout the month of May, we invite all of our sisters, friends and family to join us for Arthritis Awareness Month. We will share ways to get involved as well as statistics and educational information throughout the month! This will include how we partner to support the community impacted by arthritis, including AOII’s commitment to the Arthritis Foundation, how you can raise awareness, how to sign up for Walk To Cure Arthritis and the Arthritis Foundation’s Insights survey for those impacted by arthritis.
AOII & The Arthritis Foundation
Our partnership with the Arthritis Foundation over the past year has been in full support of the arthritis community especially the Juvenile Arthritis Community. In a year impacted by COVID-19, the tremendous fundraising efforts of our collegiate and alumnae chapters remained strong. Because of this, AOII’s giving levels were consistent with previous years. Click the link below to read the Spring 2021 To Dragma article about AOII’s significant impacts throughout 2020-2021 and learn more about chapter fundraising efforts!
Join us in helping to raise awareness around how arthritis affects those impacted and how we can work toward a cure together by adding the Facebook Frame to your Facebook Profile photo.
Walk To Cure Arthritis
Walk To Cure Arthritis (WTCA), hosted by the Arthritis Foundation, is the largest arthritis gathering in the world and raises funds for research and a cure. Except in a few locations, this year’s will again be virtual. All AOII collegiate and alumnae chapters are encouraged to form teams and/or participate. Most WTCA virtual events are on May 16, 2021 and there is still time to sign up!
Arthritis Foundation Live Yes! INSIGHTS Survey
