Planning your Travel

Programming will begin on Friday, June 21 at 3:00 p.m. CDT. Please schedule your travel to arrive at the hotel prior to 3:00 p.m. CDT to ensure that you are ready for the kickoff of Volunteer Summit!

There will be no scheduled programming on Sunday, June 23. You may choose to depart at any time on Sunday.

If you would like to make time to visit the Archives Museum at Alpha Omicron Pi Headquarters while you are in town, please plan your travel times accordingly. We will host open–house events on Friday, June 21 from 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. and Sunday, June 23 from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Booking your Travel

Chapter Advisors may work with their Director of Finance to book their travel at any time as this is a chapter expense. International Volunteers may book travel utilizing SAP Concur and the process outlined in the Volunteer Travel & Expense Management guide (found on the AOFiles of Fulfilling the Promise) once registration opens.

Flying to Volunteer Summit

If you plan to travel to Volunteer Summit via airplane, Nashville International Airport (BNA) is the closest major airport. Franklin Marriott Cool Springs (700 Cool Springs Blvd, Franklin, TN 37067) is about 20 miles from BNA, which is approximately a 20-30 minute car ride.

Attendees must make arrangements for their own ground transportation between BNA and the conference hotel. Find information about ridesharing at BNA here.

Driving to Volunteer Summit

Volunteer Summit will be held at the Franklin Marriott Cool Springs (700 Cool Springs Blvd, Franklin, TN 37067). Complimentary parking is available on-site at the hotel for attendees who will be arriving by car.
