Throughout the month of July, we invite all of our sisters, friends and family to join us for Juvenile Arthritis Awareness Month. We will share ways to get involved as well as statistics and educational information throughout the month! This will include how we partner to support the community impacted by arthritis, including AOII’s commitment to the Arthritis Foundation, the Arthritis Foundation’s 2023 Juvenile Arthritis Family Summit, how you can raise awareness, and the Arthritis Foundation’s Insights survey for those impacted by arthritis.
AOII & The Arthritis Foundation
Our partnership with the Arthritis Foundation over the past year has been in full support of the arthritis community especially the Juvenile Arthritis Community. Click the link below to read the Spring 2022 To Dragma article about AOII’s significant impacts throughout 2021-2022 and learn more about chapter fundraising efforts! Additionally, AOII is proud to present the Arthritis Foundation with a million-dollar gift to support Juvenile Arthritis, research and community support initiatives for the 2023-2024 fiscal year.
2023 Juvenile Arthritis (JA) Family Summit
This year the Arthritis Foundation’s annual JA Family Summit will take place in Atlanta, Georgia. Note the new name, but the same fun and inspiring event! Since 1984, the Arthritis Foundation’s annual National Juvenile Arthritis Conference has been a place where kids, teens, young adults, and their families (siblings included) come together to get better informed about juvenile arthritis and other rheumatic diseases, as well as share stories and exchange tips that can make living with the condition easier. Click the link below for more information on how to register as well as JAC volunteer opportunities.
Social Media Graphics
Join us in helping to raise awareness around how arthritis affects those impacted and how we can work toward a cure together by adding the AOII graphic to your social media.
