Promoting World Arthritis Day

WorldArthritisDay

October 12 is World Arthritis Day! This day of recognition helps raise awareness of arthritis and the more than 350 million people it affects every day. Join AOII and many others across the world by wearing blue or distributing blue ribbons, as blue is the official color for arthritis awareness! You can also share arthritis facts with your community to help those who suffer from this debilitating disease. Learn more about supporting arthritis awareness by visiting the Arthritis Foundation or Arthritis Society websites.

This year we are launching a brand new AOII Goes Blue In A Box to help your chapter raise awareness or proceeds for arthritis. AOII Goes Blue In A Box walks you step by step through how to connect with others in your community, promote arthritis awareness or promote your AOII Goes blue event, and fundraise to help with arthritis research. This resource will help your chapter plan a successful AOII Goes Blue event on your campus or in your community. Visit Fulfilling The Promise to download the AOII Goes Blue In A Box on the ORL under the Philanthropy Tab.

Be on the lookout for the AOII Goes Blue/World Arthritis Day Facebook profile frame!
