Delta Omega Chapter Bid Day

It’s that time of year again! The seasons are changing, school has commenced, the crisp air is upon us and, best of all, your chapter just recruited, or is looking forward to recruiting an an amazing new member class!

With the fun memories of Bid Day ahead or fresh in our memories, it is time to change our focus to retain our newest members. Let us focus on the bonds of sisterhood, so we can create a strong foundation for a bright future as engaged AOIIs.

All the information you need to take them on this journey through Initiation can be found in the New Member Lesson Facilitator Guide. Beginning with the small room above the library in 1897, it will guide your facilitation of their new member period from the founders to today, and perhaps even inspire them to continue your legacy. The guide’s lessons and history will shed light on AOII’s history and the fun adventures ahead for AOII. New Member Educators will lead our new members and encourage them, strengthening sisterhood bonds and growing connections between our sisters. The new member period is only the start of an exhilarating lifetime experience.

The opportunity to be a new member’s leader is an important responsibility. These women are the next generation of leaders, so set an example of excellence. Use these resources located on AOII’s Officer Resource Library found on Fulfilling the Promise under the “New Member Education” tab and help guide your new members to learn how AOII Inspires Ambition!
