Identifying your Chapter’s Emerging Leader

Because Camp AOII is designed for emerging leaders, attendees should be members who do not currently serve in an Executive Team role. Ideal candidates are typically first– or second–year members who demonstrate strong leadership potential, show a desire for personal and organizational growth, and are likely to serve in future chapter leadership roles. Please reach out to your Assistant Director of Collegiate Experience if you need assistance with this process.  

Emerging Leader Selections

Chapter Presidents are responsible for designating the emerging leader who will be attending Camp AOII on AlphaLink. Selecting the chapter’s emerging leader will allow them to complete registration during the priority registration period.

  • Closes: April 13

Priority Registration

Priority registration allows one emerging leader to register per chapter.

  • Opens: April 1 
  • Closes: April 13  

Once the CP submits the Emerging Leader Selection on AlphaLink, the selected member will receive a confirmation email and should log into her AlphaLink account > go to the chapter side by clicking the chapter name at the top of the page > click Camp AOII registration, and complete the registration.  

Open Registration  

For chapters who would like to send (an) additional emerging leader(s) to attend Camp AOII, open registration will allow additional attendees to register on a first–come, first-served basis for any remaining spots.

  • Opens: April 15  
  • Closes: April 30 or when all spots are filled  

Once logged into AlphaLink > go to the chapter side by clicking the chapter name at the top of the page > click Camp AOII registration, and complete the registration. 

Emerging Leader Selection Instructions

Chapter Presidents are responsible for selecting an emerging leader in AlphaLink. To select the emerging leader:

  1. Log in to your AlphaLink account by going to alphalink.alphaomicronpi.org.
  2. Go to the chapter side of AlphaLink. Your chapter side ofAlphaLink is located at the top right corner of the page. Look for the home icon with your chapter name.
  3. Click the “Camp AOII Member Selection” tile. This tile is where you can select your chapter’s initial emerging leader to attend Camp AOII
  4. Use the Member Lookup Field to select. Click on the person that you want to select as the emerging leader. The member’s name will display.
  5. Click submit. Once submitted, you will see a confirmation message appear.
  6. The selected emerging leader will receive an email. Your chapter’s emerging leader will receive an email letting them know they are selected to register. The emerging leader is NOT fully registered until they log in to their AlphaLink account and complete the registration process. Please note that her priority registration spot will not be held for her if the registration is not completed between April 1 and April 13, 2026.

Attendee Registration Instructions

For members selected as the chapter emerging leader to register during priority registration OR for additional emerging leaders to register during open registration:

  1. Log in to your AlphaLink account by going to alphalink.alphaomicronpi.org.
  2. Go to the chapter side of AlphaLink. Your chapter side of AlphaLink is located at the top right corner of the page. Look for the home icon with your chapter name.
  3. Click the “Camp AOII Registration” tile.
  4. Select the “Register” tab at the top of the page.
  5. Fill out your registration form. When filling out your registration, you will select your session, submit an emergency contact, and note any accessibility needs or meal preferences.
    You will not be asked to provide payment at the time of registration, as your registration fee will be invoiced directly to your chapter. Note: Camp AOII registrations may be transferred from one emerging leader to another until two weeks prior by contacting events@alphaomicronpi.org. Any changes requested after that time may be denied at the discretion of the AOII Events team. Transfer requests will be honored only for the session dates registered for by the initial registrant. No cancellations or refunds will be accepted.
  6. You will receive a confirmation message. Once you have submitted your registration, you will see a confirmation message on your screen and your name will appear on the attendees tab. We can’t wait to see you there!
