The Fraternal Government Coalition (FGC), is a nonpartisan coalition formed by the National Panhellenic Conference (NPC), the North American Interfraternity Conference (NIC), the Fraternity and Sorority Action Fund, and the Fraternity and Sorority Political Action Committee (FSPAC) to work collaboratively on federal government relations issues that directly affect the experiences of the greater fraternal community, such as: college affordability, student freedom of association rights, and anti-hazing legislation.

Alpha Omicron Pi members have the distinct ability to take part in lobbying for legislative issues that are vital to the success of fraternities and sororities. Here is your chance!

APPLY HERE TO PARTICIPATE IN CAPTIOL HILL VISITS

Members of fraternal organizations will have the opportunity to meet with Congressional lawmakers and their staffs on April 9-10, 2024. Alpha Omicron Pi is looking for ambitious junior and/or senior members with an interest in legislative affairs and/or political science who would be interested in serving in this capacity. Selection is limited to US Citizens who attend a college or university within the United States.

All interested members should apply by December 17, 2023.

Alpha Omicron Pi will make recommendations on qualified recipients to the Fraternal Government Relations Coalition, which will then notify individuals of their decision the week of January 29 – February 2, 2024. Selection as a student representative requires a commitment to online training sessions in Spring 2024 and in-person travel for the Capitol Hill Visits April 9-10, 2024.
