This year, every sister is facing unique challenges in our lives related to the global pandemic. Our collegiate members especially have been hard hit by COVID-related losses of internships, summer jobs, and family loss of income. As they are navigating these challenges personally and striving for excellence academically, AOII is seeking ways to facilitate dues support for collegiate members in need.
The Pay It Forward program provides alumnae members the opportunity to make a difference directly for a younger sister by financially supporting a collegiate member of a chapter of your choosing. When alumnae members participate in this program, they assume the responsibility of directly paying the International Fees ($191.25 US or $254.36 CAD) associated with collegiate chapter membership.
You may either choose to select a specific member (or members) of that chapter, or may donate so that the chapter leaders can select a sister/sisters in need to benefit from your Pay It Forward contribution. You can also click “Add” to include a different chapter or additional members from the same chapter. Additionally, you also can pool contributions from multiple alumnae to collectively Pay It Forward to a current collegian. The program will close on November 1, 2020.
