Long Beach-South Bay Alumnae Chapter Rechartered and Installed

in General News

We are thrilled to share that the Long Beach-South Bay Alumnae Chapter of our Fraternity has been rechartered and installed in Long Beach, California!

The chapter welcomed approximately 30 alumnae members of Alpha Omicron Pi on March 21, 2026, during a formal installation and luncheon. Any sisters who joined the alumni chapter and paid their chapter dues by the designated date were invited to sign the charter document.

“Joining an [alumnae] chapter is a great way to stay connected beyond graduation,” the chapter shared on their Instagram page. “It offers opportunities to build lasting relationships, expand your professional network, and give back to the community that helped shape your journey. Being part of an alumni chapter keeps you engaged, informed, and involved, creating meaningful experiences with people who share your background and values beyond the four years of college.”

To date, the Long Beach-South Bay Alumnae Chapter has hosted several sisterhood events tailored to connecting alumnae members and building lasting friendships including a Galentine’s Day celebration, a Founders’ Day celebration, lunch dates, and even line dancing.

This chapter is a wonderful example of what AOII is all about — staying connected through the common thread sisterhood throughout our lives, through the collegiate years and beyond.

Congratulations, Long Beach-South Bay! We look forward to witnessing everything this chapter accomplishes. You can keep up with this chapter by following them on Facebook and Instagram.
