2026 Alumnae Leadership Conference Recap
The sixth annual Alumnae Leadership Conference (ALC) brought together over 150 Alpha Omicron Pi alumnae from across North America for a weekend of connection, inspiration, and personal growth. Since its launch in 2021, this alumnae-exclusive virtual conference has brought sisters together for meaningful personal and professional development opportunities while strengthening lifelong connections within our sisterhood. This signature virtual event continues to be a cornerstone for alumnae engagement and development.
The 2026 ALC kicked off with themed Social Hours; one-hour Zoom sessions hosted by the NSLE team and offered at multiple times throughout the evening. Attendees had the option to join one, join a few, or join them all as their schedule allowed to start the conference weekend feeling connected and energized!
Saturday was a dynamic, full day of curated education tracks, a spectacular keynote message, meaningful connection opportunities, and empowering conversations designed to support professional and personal growth.
Keynote speaker Lauren Beane delivered an impactful message on how you don’t necessarily have to be 100 percent ready and prepared to take on a new challenge or goal; you only need to be “ready enough.” The keynote, made possible through a grant from the AOII Foundation, empowered participants to embrace change and challenges and to not hold themselves back from pursuing excellence.
Several educational tracks were offered throughout the day and hosted by experienced volunteers and subject matter experts. Track themes included leadership skills, empowered women, belonging, leveraging AI for work and daily life, goal setting, and much more. In a choose-your-own-adventure format, participants selected three sessions to attend, allowing for a tailored and meaningful learning experience.
The day concluded with closing remarks from International President, Susan Bonifield, Nu Beta (U of Mississippi), which left participants feeling inspired and reconnected to the Fraternity.
ALC 2026 reinforced the power of connection, lifelong learning, and continued impact alumnae have within AOII and beyond. Excitement is already building for the 2027 Alumnae Leadership Conference as headquarters staff prepares for another inspiring year of lifetime engagement and alumnae connection!
